The GKTECH anti-dive kit lowers the front inner pivot point of the lower front control arms by up to 20 mm. This causes the suspension geometry to more effectively counteract front-end dive under braking. Using spacers, you can adjust the setting to suit your vehicle's ride height and suspension setup.

Details

  • Adjustment in 5 mm increments up to a maximum of 20 mm
  • Brackets made of 6061-T6 aluminum, spacers made of 4130 chromoly steel
  • Compatible with stock control arms and stock bushings, GKTECH GT86-CBSH rod end bearings, as well as GKTECH front lower control arms
  • Fits Toyota GT86 ZN6, GR86 ZN8, and Subaru BRZ ZC6 and ZD8
  • Part number: GT86-ANTD

Which setting makes sense?

GKTECH suggests a starting point of 10–20 mm of offset at stock ride height and 5–15 mm for a drop of approximately 30–50 mm. More anti-dive is not automatically better: an overly aggressive setting can limit the suspension's ability to absorb bumps while braking.

According to the manufacturer, the kit can also be used if bump steer correction is already installed. However, the bump steer curve will also be affected and should be taken into account during setup.

Installation and important notes

Unscrew the stock stud using the hex head and replace it with the supplied bolt. Install the bracket, sleeve, and spacers according to the installation diagram.

The spacers are distributed above and below the bushing: if all 20 mm are placed below, the pivot point remains at stock height. If they are placed entirely above, it is lowered by 20 mm.

The adapter sleeve is used with stock bushings and corresponding rod end bearings; it is not required for GKTECH Super-Lock front lower control arms.

GKTECH notes potential premature wear when using stock bushings and recommends rod end bearings. Have the wheel alignment professionally checked and adjusted after installation.
