The rigid GKTECH aluminum bushings replace the standard rubber subframe bushings. They reduce movement of the subframe relative to the chassis and provide more direct feedback from the rear axle. At the same time, the subframe is raised by 7.5 mm, which helps with roll center correction on lowered vehicles.
The lack of rubber dampening comes at a price: Significantly more noise and vibration are transmitted into the chassis. Load peaks are transferred more directly to axle components and mounting points, which can increase the stress placed upon them. We therefore do not recommend these bushings for comfort-oriented street vehicles.

Installation instructions
The rear subframe must be removed and the factory bushings pressed out. According to GKTECH, the stock hardware is reused.
The bushings must be inserted from the bottom towards the chassis. Reverse installation can jeopardize the secure fastening of the subframe.
GKTECH estimates about one hour for the bushing change once the subframe is already removed. Installation should be performed by qualified personnel; a wheel alignment is required afterward.
